The Illinois Valley Senior League baseball team opens the World Series at 8 a.m. Saturday in Easley, S.C. against Southeast Region winner Vine-Ingle out of Macon, Ga.
The winner advances to play the West Region champion – Pearl City (Hawaii). – at 11 a.m. Sunday, while the loser will play at 3 p.m. Monday.

The tournament continues through Saturday, Aug. 8.
The United States and International championship games are Friday, Aug. 7. The winners of those two games will meet for the World Series title at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8.
All games will be aired on ESPN+.
Illinois Valley advanced to the World Series by winning the Central Region Tournament in Peru. Illinois Valley is the first District 20 team to advance to the Senior League World Series.
