SPRINGFIELD, IL – Nearly 1,000 Illinois state employees in coming years will take office in the storied Illinois State Armory, which has been renamed and dedicated to honor a former governor.
Gov. JB Pritzker on Aug. 11 held a ceremony to dedicate the building to former Gov. Jim Edgar, who died at the age of 79 in 2025.
