Five former Illinois golf standouts are in this week’s John Deere Classic field. Staff writer Scott Richey spotlights how they’ve fared on the course this year:

Brian Campbell

The reigning JDC champion has made the cut in eight of 18 events on the PGA Tour this season. Campbell’s best finish came in a big moment with a tie for 24th at the Masters.

Adrien Dumont de Chassart

Dumont de Chassart has made just one cut in his last four events — at the U.S. Open — but the only Belgian on the PGA Tour is 10 of 15 on the season with four top 25 finishes.

Michael Feagles

The JDC will be Feagles’ first PGA Tour event since 2021. The 28-year-old started his Korn Ferry Tour year with a top 25 finish at The Bahamas Golf Classic — one of seven cuts he’s made.

Nick Hardy

Hardy has split his season between the PGA Tour and Korn Ferry Tour, with seven starts on each. His best finish came on the former, tying for 20th at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans.

Ryan Voois

The 22-year-old Voois started his pro career just last week on the PGA Tour Americas with a tie for 17th at the Wichita Open. Voois got a sponsor exemption to make his PGA Tour debut.
