After Eisenhower (Decatur) moved to a JV slate in 2026, IHSA gave the Panthers’ scheduled opponents two options: accept the forfeit win or find another game.

On Aug. 10, Mt. Zion said they “actively exploring our options” for week 2.
On Aug. 10, Rochester said they are looking for a replacement for week 3, but Coach Derek Leonard said they’ve been told no by multiple teams.
Per Glenwood’s X/Twitter account, they replaced the Panthers with a road trip to Rock Island in Week 5.
Lanphier (week 8) and Southeast (week 9) are “still exploring options”, District 186 told me on Aug. 11.
I reached MacArthur on Aug. 11. The front office redirected me to the AD’s email, and sent an inquiry at 3:21 PM asking whether they’ve replaced the Panthers on the schedule. I am waiting to hear back, and I’ll update the article when told.
